From planning to production, quality from Germany!

Loading ramps are also known as access ramps, loading tracks, or loading platforms. Generally, these terms refer to special, stable, inclined surfaces that connect two levels at different heights. A loading ramp, usually made of robust, highly resistant aluminum alloys (extruded profile), can be used as a fixed or foldable one-piece access ramp. Alternatively, two individual aluminum ramps can be installed at a suitable distance from each other, for example, to transport different goods with two-wheeled vehicles. Whether a continuous aluminum ramp for driving onto with different vehicles or two lightweight aluminum ramps with edges, Altec offers an astonishing variety of applications for every loading situation, even in its standard product range. Our engineers are also prepared to develop special custom solutions that provide ideal conditions for challenging tasks. Some fundamental, important criteria for reliable loading aids of various types are always the same. The ramp's own weight should be as low as possible, while its overall load-bearing capacity should be as high as possible; aluminum is almost always the first choice for this. The running surfaces should be perforated to prevent slipping and, of course, be stable and weather-resistant. Length, width, weight, and load capacity vary depending on the specific type. Axle load distribution, supports, and stop angles, along with track width and protective edge (if present), are other factors to consider when purchasing loading ramps. Load capacity values listed on our website refer to two-axle vehicles. A load capacity reduction of approximately 60% occurs when using single-axle vehicles.

What's important!

Experience, optimal cost-benefit ratio, and safety. The products are GS-certified and comply with the guidelines of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). The load capacities specified on this website refer to two-axle vehicles with an axle load distribution of 40% to 60%. For single-axle vehicles, the load capacity is reduced to 60% of the specified value. All load capacities are calculated with a safety factor of 2,1.
