The KBS from ALTEC is a sliding loading bridge made of high-strength, weather-resistant aluminum alloy. It is ideally suited for compensating for small to medium height differences between the ramp and the vehicle, enabling a safe and efficient loading process.

Thanks to its movable design, the KBS is particularly flexible, especially when docking positions change. The bridge can be easily positioned along the ramp and can be effortlessly operated by one person. This makes it ideal for use in warehouses, workshops, and shipping areas – both for pedestrian and forklift traffic.

A sturdy, galvanized guide rail ensures safe and smooth movement of the bridge. When not in use, the KBS can be stored vertically at the edge of the ramp, saving space. An integrated fall arrestor prevents accidental tipping and provides additional safety during daily work.

The robust aluminium construction ensures high load-bearing capacity with low weight and offers a durable, corrosion-resistant solution in proven ALTEC quality.

The guide rails are available in lengths of 200, 250, or 300 cm and weigh approximately 8 kg per meter. The bridges themselves are available in four lengths from 41 to 91 cm and in widths of 125, 150, or 200 cm. Depending on the model, the weight ranges from 19 to 44 kg. The load-bearing capacity is up to 4000 kg per unit, ensuring safe operation even with heavy loads.
