SBS: Handy wheelchair threshold bridge with walkway
With the handy SBS aluminum wheelchair threshold bridge from ALTEC, smaller, wider elevations such as door thresholds can be overcome safely and comfortably with a wheelchair.
The SBS threshold bridge with walkway from ALTEC is a practical addition to the SBA threshold bridge and allows wheelchair users to safely cross door thresholds and similar obstacles. It was specifically designed for minor height differences in interior and entrance areas.
Door thresholds up to 3,5 cm high and 12 cm wide can be easily overcome with this compact wheelchair threshold bridge. The integrated platform rests across the wide side of the threshold or obstacle, connecting two equally sized lateral support surfaces. The rigid and stable construction ensures safe everyday use.
The SBS threshold ramp is available in three widths: 70 cm, 80 cm, and 90 cm. It is 500 mm long. The smallest version weighs approximately 4 kg. With a load-bearing capacity of 300 kg, this threshold ramp offers high stability while remaining lightweight.
