SBK – Aluminum wedge bridge for different height differences
The ALTEC SBK wedge bridge, made of aluminum, enables safe and comfortable crossing of fixed and individually adjusted height differences. It is suitable for small thresholds as well as larger transitions in indoor and outdoor areas.
With the SBK wedge bridge, ALTEC offers a stable and durable solution for compensating for different height differences. Its wedge-shaped design allows steps, thresholds, or fixed transitions to be crossed safely and comfortably with a wheelchair.
The non-slip aluminum tread plate surface ensures a secure grip when driving over it. Made from high-quality, weather-resistant aluminum, the SBK is corrosion-resistant, maintenance-free, and suitable for both indoor and permanent outdoor use.
Depending on the model, the SBK covers different height ranges. Custom-made versions are also available. The exact height difference of the step or threshold should be specified when ordering to ensure optimal fit.
With a load capacity of 300 kg per unit, the SBK is also suitable for heavier wheelchairs. Despite its robust construction, it remains easy to handle and flexible in its use.
