With its handy SBA wheelchair threshold bridge, ALTEC offers a simple, robust, and easy-to-use solution for safely crossing door thresholds and similar obstacles. The pivot point in the middle of the two movable ramp sections should always rest directly on the threshold, as the threshold bridge is not self-supporting.

Whether it's a classic door threshold or the guide rail of a sliding door between the living area and kitchen – the SBA allows wheelchair users to cross such transitions safely and comfortably. The cross-profiled aluminum surface provides a non-slip grip and enables easy access.

With a load capacity of 500 kg, the SBA is also suitable for heavy electric wheelchairs, even with a higher user weight. The threshold bridge is available in a length of 60 cm. The width can be selected between 70 cm and 100 cm. Depending on the version, the weight is approximately 7 kg or 10 kg, allowing for easy transport.

Thanks to its lightweight, weather-resistant aluminum construction, the SBA is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be used flexibly, stored in a space-saving manner, and easily transported in a vehicle – for example, to drive over low slab edges outdoors or in the garden.
